On October 13th, 2024, at approximately 9:37 a.m., Rock County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and WI DNR Warden were dispatched to the 8600 block of N Pine Rd (public hunting grounds) in Milton Township. Upon arrival, Deputies spoke with the reporting person who was out hunting and found what appeared to be human skeletal remains in the area. After consulting with the Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office, the remains were confirmed as human remains, and the identity is unknown at this time. The Rock/Dane County Sheriff Office and the Rock/Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office are continuing to investigate.
